Hi, welcome to my site!
I am Lecturer of Sociology at the School of Social Sciences, Monash University. My research with migrants is interested in the production and experience of difference, with a focus on ethnic relations, social inequalities, class, gender and decolonisation.
Prior to my current role, I held an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation, Deakin University. From 2018 to 2020, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore.
I completed my PhD at the University of Melbourne, supported by the Melbourne International Research and Fee Remission Scholarships. I also hold a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the National University of Singapore.
